Childhood

I wanted to create a direct dialogue with the audience through interactive artworks composed of movable magnetic pieces, allowing viewers to form their own images. The series unfolds in three stages: childhood, adulthood, and maturity

The painting Childhood speaks about the first stage of life, about memories and early experiences that stay deeply imprinted and shape who we become. It is my personal story, but also a reminder that we all carry our childhood as a foundation.

Through this piece, I wanted to invite the viewer to become a child again,to touch, to play, to let go.

Dimensions: 100 x 100 cm
20 x 20 cm each piece (x25)

Note on the Work

In this work, it was the only time I used a Dremel tool to engrave a second image, which was not immediately visible, as the intense color layer covered it. However, it could be felt through the engravings, inviting the viewer to try to reconstruct it. Through this process, I aimed to speak about emotion and trauma, two elements that may not be visible at first glance, but are always present.
