This piece was a commission, based on another work of mine called Vanilla, sharing a similar aesthetic while exploring a different subject. It captures a fleeting moment of childhood, one of those simple, unguarded moments when a child is fully present and immersed in their surroundings. Whether strolling through a city or enjoying a holiday, the figure embodies a sense of ease, curiosity, and quiet contentment. The work celebrates the beauty of everyday experiences and the ability to find joy in the present moment, inviting the viewer to reflect on the innocence and wonder that often accompany childhood.

Notes on the Work
Urban traces dissolve into abstraction, where architectural hints are translated into gesture rather than depiction. Warm tonalities form an atmospheric field that replaces spatial definition with sensation.
