Exodus

Some transitions shape the course of an entire life, even though we are unable to grasp their significance when they occur. This work reflects that fragile space between before and after, when a person leaves one world behind without yet knowing what awaits ahead. Suspended between memory and loss, separation and hope, change is presented not as an ending or a beginning, but as an ongoing process of transformation.

On the Work

Within the abstract field of the landscape, the painterly gestures function almost as traces of an internal movement. The wheat is not depicted as fixed forms, but as fluid presences constantly shifting through colour and material. The dripping elements reinforce this sense of transition, creating an atmosphere where memory, imagination, and reality coexist without clear boundaries.
